Common questions

Product & fit

Transmetrics is an AI data-and-intelligence layer for logistics. It sits on top of the systems you already run and turns your operational data into more profitable decisions – through SpotLoad (spot-load profitability), FleetMetrics (fleet analytics and planning), AssetMetrics (container forecasting and optimization) and our TMS.

European road carriers and freight forwarders running roughly 30-500+ trucks, and global container shipping lines. If you move freight and want to see where the profit really is, it fits.

No. Transmetrics works on top of your existing TMS, telematics, and finance systems. We are launching our TMS soon, and if you want to explore, request a 3-month free trial as a beta user.

We start with a demo on a slice of your own data, so you see relevant numbers in the first sessions. In production, most customers see measurable impact within one to two quarters.

Common questions

Data & setup

Typically your TMS, telematics and ERP or finance data. We clean and enrich it as part of onboarding – the platform is built to work even when inputs are incomplete or low quality.

No. Transmetrics is a software-as-a-service platform. There are no boxes to install on trucks or in the yard.

Our team connects your systems through standard connectors and file feeds during onboarding, so you are not left to wire it up alone. We also set up a dedicated VPN connection to protect your data.

Common questions

Security, pricing & rollout

Yes. We are ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, GDPR-compliant, and host data in the EU. Data protection terms (DPA) are available on request.

Transmetrics products are sold as SaaS on a monthly subscription. Pricing depends on the products and fleet size – book a demo and we will scope it with you.

Yes – a sales-assisted free trial. We connect a slice of your data so you can see the results on your own network before committing.

Common questions

Glossary

The fully-loaded cost of running one kilometre – fuel, tolls, driver, maintenance and empty running – allocated to a truck, lane or customer.

Kilometres driven with no paying load, e.g. returning from a delivery. A primary, often hidden, drain on fleet margin.

A one-off load booked on the open market or a freight exchange, rather than under a fixed contract.

A return load that fills a truck on its way back to base, turning what would be an empty leg into revenue.

Ranking available loads by the profit and reliability they actually represent – not just the headline rate.

Moving trucks or containers ahead of forecast demand so capacity is where the paying loads will be.
